Ask after the work is complete
Choose a point when the customer has had a chance to review the job and you have resolved any final questions. A short, direct request is enough.
Make the review link easy to open on a phone. Do not pressure the customer or tell them what rating to leave.
Keep the feedback genuine
Never write a review for a customer, exchange incentives for a positive review, or filter requests so only happy customers are asked. Those practices create a misleading picture of the business.
If feedback is critical, treat it as a chance to understand the issue and respond professionally where appropriate.
Use reviews carefully on your website
Only republish genuine reviews and preserve their meaning. Get permission when using identifying details or photos.
Reviews work best alongside accurate services, contact information, and examples of real work.
